We received a very nice testimonial from one of our clients who is using ProPageBuilder Website Builder system to maintan and update their website. We thought we would share this:

ProPageBuilder is simple and easy to use.  I use it on a weekly basis to make changes and to update any web specials that I may have.  I enable the mailing list option to my site to email my customers and visitors with any news, information or deals.  With a click of the mouse, you can view how many visitors came to your website, how many pages they viewed and who referred them to your site.  I definitely have an advantage over my competitors by using ProPageBuilder.

Web 2.0 - The new generation

September 4th, 2006

We came across a great video discussing Web 2.0 and the hype that’s going on with all the new technologies like AJAX and Flux. One of our favorite blogs, Techcrunch sat down with a number of startup CEOs and executives to video their feedback about this new “bubble” that’s growing rapidly. Participating in the discussion were Aaron Cohen (Bolt), Scott Milener and Steven Lurie (Browster), Keith Teare (edgeio), Steven Marder (Eurekster), Joe Kraus (JotSpot), Jeremy Verba (Piczo), Auren Hoffman (Rapleaf), Chris Alden (Rojo), Gautam Godhwani (Simply Hired), Jonathan Abrams (Socializr), David Sifry (Technorati), Matt Sanchez (Video Egg) and Michael Tanne (Wink).

We like the metaphor Aaron Cohen from Bolt.com gave, all of these new web 2.0 startups such as YouTube, Myspace, Technorati, Flickr, are like the Republic in the Star Wars movie. They are all working together to take the advertising money away from TV Media which he compared to the Empire. More and more startups are expanding the web 2.0 sphere and taking away the spotlight of primetime TV. Where will the web 2.0 take us? We shall see, lets just hope that Tom Anderson does not become the Darth Vader and start charging for MySpace!

Here is the video compiled by TechCrunch

Google Radio Adwords

June 24th, 2006

Google Radio Adwords

Google has invented, innovated on, acquired or purchased a number of technologies over the past two years to bolster its online advertising business. AdWords is arguably the most successful advertising program ever and Google is obviously not content to focus solely on Internet advertising.

Google acquired dMarc in January to bring “radio advertising to Google AdWords advertisers.”  The CEO of Google,  Eric Schmidt shared his vision in a recent news article that  when he is driving in his car, the radio ads should address him personally about his needs. If he is hungry, it would suggest his favorite cafe or pizza place near by.

Using dMark’s technologies and GPS systems the Google Ad’s would streem directly into your car depending on your Geographic location. Google predicts this technology  to  be available in a year  or two.  We shall wait and see…

Microsoft Live Messenger Beta

Microsoft is serving up some new gear as they get closer to the Vista release.

The release of Windows Live Messenger is here! This is the next-generation MSN Messenger. The name is new, but it is still free to download Messenger and use most of its features. And there are some remarkable new ways to instantly share and connect with friends.

This is another idea from Microsoft, it came out just few days ago and already over 2 million downloads. There are plenty of unique features like sharing folders, Live Call which allows you to ring ordinary phones from your PC, full screen video calling and Live Contacts that self-update when details change. You can read more information at their new site: http://get.live.com/messenger/overview

I believe all of these feature packed applications that Microsoft are working on will be bundled up in their upcoming new Operating system: Windows Vista , but only time will tell and we shall see.

Windows Live Ideas is where you can check out the very latest Windows Live products—so new that they’re not even finished yet. So give them a try and then tell us exactly what you think. And don’t hold back. We need your help to make these products the best they can be.

This website reminds me of Google Labs, and their beta applications that are currently available for everyone to download and try out for free. I predict that Google will split into two sectors of their company, one will focus on their main revenue producer which are google adwords, adscense and the other will continue developing software applications and might even take on Microsoft in their battle of taking over today’s corporate environment.
